Celeb Signature: Scarlett's Scarlet Lips

Besides marrying the fabulous Ryan Renolds, Scarlett has me jealous for other reasons. This girl can pull off red lips like no other. I have not jumped on the lipstick bandwagon yet, but when I do, I'm bring everyone of these pictures to the store with me!
By far one of her most stunning makeup looks, Scarlett pairs her shimmery red lips with equally gorgeous gold shadow. To offset the sparkles, the rest of her face is very matte with a dusting of pink blush. Perfection!
This next color is more of an orangey-red hue. It stands out against a natural brown eye and shiny chestnut curls.
Scarlett's eye makeup is absolutely amazing, but that will be another post later. Her red lips here are once again worn with a light blush and it looks so pretty! It seems like she has a tiny bit of clear gloss on the center of her bottom lip and this is an excellent trick for making your lips seem fuller. (Not that she needs it!)
The last red lip of Scarlett's is her most classic one. Long lashes, pearl white shimmer shadow, and creamy apricot blush are beautiful additions to her glamourous Old Hollywood siren lips.

Celeb Signature: Christina's Red Lips

Nothing says glamour like red lips! Christina pulls off many different shades. Here are some of my favorites!
This color is perfect for Christina's skintone. I love the old-Hollywood vibe you get from the thick liner and lots of false lashes expertly paired with glossy cherry lips.

Matching your nails to your lips? Definitely a do!
This shade is more of a tomato shade but she keeps it classy but keeping it matte. Sometimes a bold color with gloss and a smokey eye can be overkill. Stick to lighter shades on the eye and very light blush to balance the strong lip.

Before we saw Christina match her nails to her lips, but this is even better- lipstick the same shade as your dress! It's very hard to do but it looks fantastic! Those light, flirty lashes and big barrel curls are the definition of glamour. Her rich crimson color is a beautiful addition to her sparkling gold eyes. (Ignore the fake baked tan.)

As I mentioned above, a smokey eye plus a strong lip with gloss can be too much. Here Christina drops the smokey eye and sticks to the basic dreamy lashes. The gloss on top of the color is stunning. (A light dusting of pink blush keeps her skin from looking washed out.)
Winged liner and red lips will never go out of style! Unfortunately they are some of the hardest makeup tricks to master.
I am not usually a big fan of dark lips but I've got to say, this is one of the best dark lips I have ever seen. The deep berry color plays beautifully off her rose colored cheeks.

Top Five Pink Lips

Many women are afraid of trying a new lipcolor because they fear how it will look on them. Here I put together my top five pink lips and how you can make them work for you.
1. Lauren Conrad beautifully plays off her sunny highlights with a splash of raspberry pink on her lips. This color brightens her whole face (and her teeth as well)! A quick way to wake up your face is to put on a pretty shade like seen here on Lauren.

2. Jessica Biel's paler skin tone calles for a lighter pink. Her skin looks porcelain and the layer of gloss over the pink brings the focus to her enviable lips. Use lipstick and gloss to make your lips the focal point of your makeup.
3. Rihanna is known for pushing the envelope on fashion but she has taken risks with her makeup too. Navy liner and pink lips is a fun alternative to your everyday colors.
4. Katy Perry is a goddess, especially when it comes to her makeup choices. I will forever be a fan of a thick fringe of lashes paired with girly pink lips. (Tip: Add a few extra false lashes on the outer corners of your lids to give the winged effect she has here.) This bubblegum pink works on many varieties of complexions so don't be too timid about experimenting with this one. Do not, however, use this much blush. The color is perfect but there's way too much of it.
5. Camilla Belle is a great example of how much blush you should use- just enough to give a flush but not so much that it looks piled on. Plus, ussing a darker pink on your lips and a lighter pink on yor cheeks looks very natural.
