How to Wear: Plaid

Plaid is super easy to wear. It's comfortable and can be worn all year long. I always thought plaid to be to masculine, but these girls can show you how to wear this pattern in a feminine way.

Kate Moss is the queen of trends! Pairing her button down with a comfy sweater makes a simple outfit. I like how she uses the low cut to display a delicate necklace. So pretty!

Julianne wears her plaid in pink. Love it! With destroyed jeans, she looks so stylish.

Mary-Kate has had some questionable fashion choices, but I always get inspiration from her casual grunge ensembles. She chose to wear her shirt open with a fitted t-shirt and a flowy scarf. I don't like the color of the scarf but the idea of adding girly accessories is great!

Taylor's bold style screams cool to me. Her loose button down is casually thrown over a simple shirt and shorts that compliment her fierce heels. The layers of jewelry made me fall in love with this outfit even more!
Lauren tackles the plaid trend by wearing comfy leggings with a long plaid tunic. So simple yet so cute!

Vanessa is one of my biggest fashion inspirations. She can effortlessly go glam or casual and still look fabulous! Skinny jeans and tall boots are staples in every girl's wardrobe and Vanessa shows us why. They easily transform a plain patterned shirt into a chic look. (Extra points for matching her lipstick to her shirt!)

No More Boring Braids!!

One of the easiest ways to quickly style your hair is to jump out of the shower and braid your hair. No heat or laborious styling required. After your hair dries, you will have pretty cascades of waves. I love braids because they are so simple to do but lately I've been bored with the same old braids I've been sporting for seemingly forever. Here are some fun braids I have found on celebs that guarantee you will not have any more boring braids!

I have yet to try these braids but it looks so easy that I can't believe I haven't worn them before!

I used to wear a headband with braided pigtails in middle school but a thin headband with a small top braid is much more grown up.

This hairstyle would look fantastic with a fancy dress and glitzy earrings. (And this makeup is gorgeous!!)


This is the best milkmaid braid I have ever seen! I think the face framing tendrils make it modern. I couldn't have a braid post without one of LC's famous itty bitty braids. :)
